scrum
Daily Standup
A short, time-boxed Scrum ceremony — fifteen minutes or less — held every day at the same time and place. Each team member answers three questions: What did I complete since the last standup? What will I complete before the next standup? Are there any impediments blocking my progress? Standups are not status reports to a manager; they are a coordination mechanism for the self-organizing team. Issues that require deeper discussion are taken 'offline' after the standup to avoid holding the full team. Standups create daily accountability, surface blockers quickly, and keep everyone aligned on sprint progress without lengthy meetings.
